First XI grind out valuable win at Mid-table rivals

It was a tough match and not one for those who only understand the Twenty20 version of the sport, but the First XI’s match at Manningham Mills was significant for a number of reasons:  MM have been something of a jinx side, and this was the first win in 4 meetings.  Secondly, we leapfrog them into 6th position in the league table; thirdly it served to reinforce the strength of the resolve within the team to battle things out.
