First XI grind out valuable win at Mid-table rivals

wpa1b31726.png

It was a tough match and not one for those who only understand the Twenty20 version of the sport, but the First XI’s match at Manningham Mills was significant for a number of reasons:  MM have been something of a jinx side, and this was the first win in 4 meetings.  Secondly, we leapfrog them into 6th position in the league table; thirdly it served to reinforce the strength of the resolve within the team to battle things out. Click HERE for match report.

In an exclusive interview, James Smith talks candidly about his anguish at injury, poor form and disappointing results.  On the other hand, he points at many positives, and predicts a serious title challenge within a couple of years, not to mention a strong finish to the current campaign.
