At present, the club have 4 senior teams: The First XI and Second XI both play in the 1st Division of the JCT600 Bradford Cricket League; 3rd and 4th teams play in the Dales Council League.

The 1st XI play at a semi-professional level, with many league sides fielding imported county and overseas players, and even the occasional International.  But because of one of the best Junior and Youth development programmes in the country, St Lawrence are extremely proud that the majority of the 1st XI are home-grown players - capable each year of competing for top honours.

To see such high class cricket at our home ground costs a paltry £3.00 for 7 hours’ superb entertainment, so come along!

The club was established in 1845 and in the 163 years since, has continuously produced teams and individual cricketers of high quality.  Two of Yorkshire’s and England’s greatest players, Herbert Sutcliffe, and Sir Leonard Hutton began their careers here, and Sir Len continued to have a lifetime’s involvement with the club. In addition, St Lawrence has produced many exceptional cricketers who have gone on to play for Yorkshire or other First Class counties, and the occasional one for England!

St Lawrence have a long history of being a family club.  This goes back to Herbert Sutcliffe, whose father played  here, and Sir Leonard played alongside his brothers.  This tradition continues to the present day with the club currently having 4 father and son combinations playing in various teams.

Pudsey St Lawrence continues to be proud of its history and true to its tradition, whilst also being committed to the future.  This future includes a junior section starting at Under 9s for boys and girls, through to Under 17s.  The senior section provides playing opportunities at all levels, and is supported by a social side that welcomes all.
